Vegan Shoes & Clothing by MACBETH

On tour and in-between shows, musicians have a lot of time to explore big ideas. The majority of these stay just that – ideas. But for Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLongue from the US pop punk band Blink-182, it was to be different. Their dream of having their own shoe brand came to reality in 2002 when they founded the company MACBETH.

Like no other shoe producer, MACBETH is rooted in the hardcore and punk scene. Not only have Hoppus and Delonge long been a part of the scene themselves, MACBETH has also collaborated with countless other bands from the scene, from Sick Of It All to Gaslight Anthem. Some of these – not least the goth punks from AFI, including yearlong vegan and straight-edge Davey Havoc – soon convinced the company to start producing vegan shoes too. The success which followed was overwhelming.

Today, MACBETH has a wide range of premium footwear on offer, from the relatively sporty Fischer to the more elegant Brighton or Caulfield. It’s not only the indisputable style that distinguishes their shoes, but also the relatively low prices. Beyond that, MACBETH displays a distinctive social conscience. MACBETH has time and again supported various social campaigns and initiatives, especially those related to cancer prevention.
